Published prices apply to standard audits involving one legal entity, one operator licence and one operating centre. Fleet size is based on the maximum number of vehicles operated simultaneously during the previous three months. Larger or more complex operations are quoted individually, with all fees and scope agreed before engagement.

Where an audit is required to be independent, we will confirm the scope and assess any previous involvement with your operation before accepting the instruction.
If Total Transport Compliance has previously provided advisory or implementation support in the areas being audited, this may affect whether we can act as the independent auditor. We will discuss this with you before the audit is commissioned.

When should an operator consider an independent audit?
An independent audit can be valuable both proactively and in response to regulatory requirements. You may need one to satisfy a Traffic Commissioner undertaking, following regulatory scrutiny, or simply to obtain an objective assessment of how effectively your compliance systems are working in practice.

Regular independent reviews can also help identify gaps before they develop into more significant compliance concerns.
Can you carry out an audit if you already support our business?
Yes, but the nature of the audit will depend on our previous involvement. Where an audit must be independent, we will assess any previous advisory or implementation support before accepting the instruction.

If our previous involvement means we cannot meet the required independence criteria, we'll explain this clearly and discuss the appropriate options with you.
Are audits remote or do they require a visit?
The way an audit is conducted will depend on its purpose, scope and the circumstances of your operation. Our audit process uses secure document review, virtual meetings and screen sharing where appropriate, allowing evidence to be examined thoroughly and efficiently.

Where an audit is being completed to satisfy a specific Traffic Commissioner requirement, we will consider the applicable audit requirements and agree the appropriate approach with you before the audit begins.
Are operator compliance audits only for operators in trouble with the TC or DVSA?
No. While audits may be required following regulatory scrutiny or as part of a Traffic Commissioner undertaking, they are equally valuable as a proactive compliance tool.

Our published prices apply to standard remote audits involving one legal entity, one operator licence and one operating centre.
For operations outside our standard pricing criteria, we'll discuss your requirements and provide a tailored, fixed-fee quotation.

Your audit scope and fee will always be agreed before any work begins.

You will receive a structured written audit report setting out the scope of the review, evidence considered, findings and recommended actions.
